Why you should register with Worthy Locums
Worthy Locums has been finding regular employment for locum pharmacists and dispensers since 2012. We provide a friendly and reliable service and specialise in community pharmacy locum recruitment all over the North-east. We are the only pharmacy recruitment service recommended by Whitworth Chemists Ltd.
Emma is the People Deployment Coordinator, she originally joined Whitworth Chemists as a technician in 2012. One day she was asked to help out at Worthy Locums and has not been back to Whitworth’s since! Rumour has it Whitworth’s are still looking for her. You’ll often find Emma with string and masking tape… we can reassure you that this is just Emma doing arts and crafts with her daughter! Emma’s professional environment has always revolved around pharmacy, and although she is no longer working in a dispensary, she utilises the skills and knowledge on how a pharmacy works to provide the best locums to you.
Jay Badenhorst is a community pharmacist who started his career in South Africa. After moving permanently to the UK in 2001, he has worked for Whitworth Chemists from 2009, first as a Superintendent Pharmacist then, from 2015, as Managing Director. Worthy Locums is the in house Locum Agency for Whitworth Chemists and was founded by Jay in 2012 as a community pharmacy locum recruitment service. Although his schedule is always jam packed, Jay still manages to find time to run fitness classes, watch and take part in opera performances, and also expanding his knowledge through new courses.
Beth is the Locum Coordinator’s Assistant who started Worthy Locums as an apprentice and has been with the company since 2015. Recruitment has always been a keen interest of Beth’s and is something she has worked in previously. Emma is lucky enough to have her sidekick, Beth, around as the ‘little locum lady’ who assists Emma with locums and recruitment. Beth spends the majority of her free time playing games on her console or planning her next cosplay costume.
